Crystal Pratt

FDIC/Manager

Crystal Pratt was born and raised in Broken Bow, OK. Crystal graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1996, she then went on to obtain her Associate in Science degree from Paris Junior College, Paris, TX, in 1998, and graduated with her Bachelor in Science degree in Business Administration/Human Resources in 2000 from Texas A&M-Commerce, Commerce, TX. Crystal worked for the Farm Service Agency/USDA, in Idabel, OK, and worked there for nearly ten years. In January 2014, she began working for Brumley Funeral Home. She has fulfilled her apprenticeship and graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Services in November of 2015. Crystal obtained her Funeral Director License in April 2016.  She is also very active in her community.  She works our other locations, such as Prater-Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home and Mt. Olive Funeral Home in Hugo, OK.  Crystal is a certified crematory operator, as well.

Ben Pollock

Ben Pollock

Apprentice Funeral Director

Ben L. Pollock was born in Deridder, Louisiana and lived in the Leesville, LA area for most of his life prior to moving to Broken Bow. He and his family moved to Broken Bow in 2017 to assume the full-time pastorate of the United Pentecostal Church of Broken Bow. Ben has been involved in preaching ministry since 2007 and full-time since 2009. He married the former Tandi Cooley of Simpson, LA, in 2001, and they have been blessed with three boys—Zackary, Judah and Levi. Ben joined Brumley Funeral Home in 2018 as a funeral assistant and is now a licensed apprentice funeral director. He enjoys serving his community!

Leta Brumley

Receptionist

Leta and her husband, Bennie, moved to Broken Bow, OK in 1972. They have four children, nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Leta retired after twenty five years as office assistant for the Broken Bow Nursing and Rehab and felt privileged to work with the wonderful residents and their families. She has worked in the funeral business for the past twelve years and is currently a part time receptionist.


Bennie Brumley

Bennie and his family moved to Broken Bow, OK in 1972 to teach in the Broken Bow Public School System; he retired after twenty one years of teaching. He has worked with Brumley Funeral Home for the past several years. Bennie enjoys deer camp, watching all sports on TV and spending time with family and friends.


Alta Matlock

Alta was born and raised in McCurtain County. She graduated from Battiest High School. She has three children, Abbi, Amy and Jonathan. She has several grandchildren and four great-grandchildren who she loves dearly. Alta married Jack Matlock in September of 2016 and they live in Bethel. They are members of the Battiest Baptist Church and she is the pianist. She has worked for Brumley Funeral Home for the past nineteen years as funeral assistant. Alta proudly serves her community and enjoys being able to help families at Brumley Funeral Home.


Randy Watkins

Randy Watkins

Pre-Planning Specialist

Randy L. Watkins, a resident of Wright City, OK has been with Brumley Funeral Home since 1998. He became an insurance agent in 1993 and worked for various life and health companies before his employment here. Randy is an agent in the final expense and pre-planning department also serving in family services. He is very involved in the community, serving with the Lion’s Club International, Chamber of Commerce member and WC Alumni Chapter President. Randy and his wife, Shelia have a daughter, Dara, who is a registered nurse, and sons, Anthony, a student at Edmond, and Alex, who attends Wright City Jr. High School. He and Shelia are pastors at Millerton Assembly of God Church and have been involved in the ministry for many years. Randy enjoys all things outdoors, such as, hunting, camping and riding in the hills. He loves his family dearly, enjoys traveling, and is a constant student of history. He is dedicated to the “service of people.”

Randy Seibert was born and raised in Ohio. He graduated from Fairless High School and attended Kent State University. He also served in the United States Army for two years. He retired from the railway industry after 41 years. After retiring, he worked in the Broken Bow Schools as the director of child nutrition. In November of 2018, Randy began working for Brumley Funeral Home. Randy and his wife, Sharon, reside in Broken Bow.

Leo has lived in McCurtain County since 1982. He is graduate of Texas A&M University of Texarkana, Texas. Leo has one daughter, Tiffany and husband Carman Williams. He has worked as a funeral assistant for the past twenty four years. Leo attends the Golden Baptist Church and is now working as a World History Teacher in Idabel High School.

Dustin Gibbs graduated from Valliant High School in 2014.  He enjoys spending time with family and friends.  Dustin has been with Brumley Funeral Home since 2016.  He also enjoys serving his community.  Dustin has been with the Broken Bow Police Department since October 2014.  Dustin is also a CLEET Certified Police Officer for the city of Broken Bow.  Dustin began his career as a public official in 2013 as a volunteer firefighter.  He then went through Emergency Medical Responder School before going into phlebotomy and medical assisting.  Being a police officer was always Dustins' dream job.  Dustin enjoys putting in time and working to serve the families at Brumley Funeral Home.

Bob was born and raised in Hugo, OK.  He graduated from Hugo High School and attended Southeastern State College.  Bob lived in Dallas prior to moving to McCurtain County, where he started his 35 year career in car sales.  Bob has been married to his wife, Carol, for 37 years.  He has 3 grown children, Shawna Eames, of Edmond, Ryan Gillham, of Idabel, and Rachel Hays, of Edmond.  Bob has 4 grandchildren that are the apple of his eye, John Eames, Macy, Kellen, and Parker Hays.  Bob is a member of the First Baptist Church of Broken Bow.  In his spare time, you can find Bob cheering for the Savages and Lady Savage sport team.

Laura was born in Phoenix, AZ but grew up right here in McCurtain County. She graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1994. Laura is blessed with two beautiful daughters, Lexxi Courtney, who is a Pediatric Registered Dietician at Cooks Children’s Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas and Lauren Courtney, who is a drum playing, guitar strumming, singing sophomore at Idabel High School. Her sweetheart, Tony Weese, is an EMT for Choctaw County Ambulance Authority. She happily said “YES!” to the ring on Christmas Day, 2018. No wedding date has been set as of yet.

Laura dreamed of being an Emergency Room Registered Nurse and has been working in that role for almost two years. She is also finding an additional, soulfully fulfilling love as a Hospice Nurse. She hopes to someday become a flight nurse. Laura obtained a certification in holistic health coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in October 2017 and tells us that the certification she obtained has been such a beautiful blessing in her life’s journey. She is currently enrolled at Northwestern Oklahoma State University where she will be obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and hopes to be graduating in the Fall of 2020.

Laura is excited and grateful to be a part of the Brumley Funeral Home Family, and although just comes to us only occasionally, she tells us she loves the time she spends here and that she is very humbled to be able to spend time with the family and friends, as they gather to love and honor their loved one.


Paul Hartley

Paul is a widowed father of two children, Jared, 18, and Jenna, 14. Jared is a freshman student at OSUIT in Okmulgee Oklahoma. Jenna is a freshman at Broken Bow High school.  He will have been a pastor for twenty-two years in October 2019. Paul has been the pastor of the Broken Bow Church of God for the last seven-plus years. His family and him were transferred here from Florida. His wife, Theresa, passed away in March 2019. They dated for two years and were married for twenty-nine years. Paul is a board member of the House Upon A Rock ministry, located at 203 Main street in Broken Bow. They feed the homeless every Tuesday night with the help of many local community churches, clubs, and businesses. They also resource others who need help in various ways. They also are partnered with Celebrate Recovery program. Their goal is to give a helping hand up rather than a hand out.
