Ralph Fogg

Ralph Fogg, 79, passed from this life on Saturday, June 29, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at his home. Ralph Herbert Fogg, Jr., was born January 11, 1940, in Hartford, CT, to Ralph Herbert Fogg, Sr. and Elizabeth Rose (Chizmar) Fogg.

Ralph was an elder at the Broken Bow Church of Christ congregation and had lived in Broken Bow since October 12, 1967 coming from Maine. Ralph owned and operated the Sinclair station from 1971 – 1979 and the Gulf station from 1980 – 1985; also, during the years 1979 – 1998, Ralph was a poultry grower. He loved gardening, especially growing his sweet corn and being able to share it with others. Ralph enjoyed watching the deer in the yard and watching the cattle. He was also known to be found piddling around in his shop. Ralph loved his family especially his grandchildren and great granddaughter. He also enjoyed playing Yahtzee and cornhole. Ralph also spent time at the Broken Bow Senior Citizens Center, where he enjoyed popping popcorn for others.

Ralph and Barbara Camp were united in marriage April 28, 1962, in Norway, ME. They met each other while serving their country.

Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp from 1957 – 1962.

Ralph leaves to cherish his memory to his loving wife, Barbara, of the home; daughter, Cheryl Burns, and husband, Greg, of Broken Bow, sons, William “Billy” Fogg, and wife, Lynn, of Broken Bow, Jeremy Fogg, and wife, Tammy, of Broken Bow, and Charlie Fogg, and wife, Julie, of Wright City; grandchildren, Mitchell Burns, and wife, Hollie, Garett Burns, and wife, Becky, Allison Burns, and fiancé, Jarred Campbell, Ann Mary Burns, Beth Fogg, and Blake Fogg, all of Broken Bow, Carissa Fogg, and fiancé, Matt Bryan, of Idabel, Clayton Fogg, and Jordan Fogg, both of Broken Bow, Claire, Lily, Andrew, Evan, Sophie, Noah, and Jude Fogg, all of Wright City; one great granddaughter, Brooklyn Burns, of Broken Bow, and great grandchild, Max, on his way; brothers, Donald Fogg, of Norway, ME, and Roger Fogg, and wife, Linda, of South Paris, ME; sister, Louise Damon, and husband, Eddie, of Norway, ME; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and a host of special friends.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Andrew, John and Robert Fogg.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at 10:00am, at the Broken Bow Church of Christ with Bro. Dan Fredman and Bro. Nathan Diller officiating. Ralphs’ grandsons, Mitchell, Garett, Clayton, Jordan, Blake, Jarred, and Matt will be pallbearers and grandsons, Andrew, Evan, Noah, and Jude will be honorary pallbearers.

Burial will follow at Watson Memorial Cemetery in the Oak Hill Community.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm, at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow, OK.
