Jerry Leforce, 71, of Bethel, passed away surrounded by his loving family July 6, 2019 at his home. Jerry was born January 14, 1948 in Bethel, to Burn James and Bonnie Dora (Stovall) Leforce.
Jerry was affiliated with the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and had lived in this area most of his life. Jerry worked as a log cutter; cutting logs all over the United States. He loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Jerry was a family man and enjoyed being with his grandkids. He could also be found outside trying to kill varmints, such as armadillos.
Jerry and Bea Jaye Blackwell had known each other all of their lives but have been together for the last 36 years; spending time fishing and being outdoors together. Bea Jay was the one to hold the light for Jerry as he was trying to kill something.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Burn James and Bonnie Dora Leforce.
Jerry leaves to cherish his memory to his loving wife, Bea Jaye Leforce, of the home; sons, Jason Ray Leforce, and wife, Britani, of Farris, OK, and Shawn Parsons, and wife, Francis, of Smithville; brothers, Jim Leforce, and wife, Carol, of Bethel, Ronnie Leforce, of Los Angeles, CA, and Keith Leforce, and wife, Codee, of Thompson Falls, Montana; sisters, Sue Scarberry, and husband, Leonard, of Heavener, OK, Sharon Perrin, and husband, Lane, of Battiest, Rita Lyles, and husband, Eddie, of Heavener, and Phyllis Gross, and husband, James Doyle, of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Kalie Leforce, Destani Parsons, Britani Parsons, Huntur Leforce, Raylynn Leforce, and Fishur Leforce; a host of nieces and nephews; along with many other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, July 11, 2019, at 10:00AM at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor David Hardin and Pastor Harry Stockton officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery.
