Truman Edward Wages, age 61, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, died Monday, September 16, 2021 at the McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma. He was born on Monday, February 29, 1960 to Truman Edward II and Bertha Louise Nelson Wages in Los Angeles, California.
Truman loved helping people and working on old junk cars. He was a Christian and attended the First Assembly of God in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Truman loved his family and going fishing with his grandchildren. Truman was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Truman, was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Jeremie Wages.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Wages of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; her sons, Buster Wages and Clovis Wages both of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; five brothers, Joey Wages of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Silvia Wages of Missouri, Eddie Wages of Antlers, Oklahoma, Edwin Wages of Missouri and Pete Wages of Missouri; two sisters, Mary Wages of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Paulie Ann Phillips of Alabama; eighteen grandchildren; one great grandchild with one on the way; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Terry Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Brumley Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Visitation will be general.
Pallbearers will be Clovis Wages, Buster Wages, Janathan Wages, Hayden Wages, Truman Wages, J.D. Mitchell and Michael Grisham.
