August 12, 1966 ~ June 26, 2021 (age 54)


Racheal Elaine Shomo, of Durant, passed from this life June 26, 2021 in Durant.  She was born August 12, 1966 to Delbert and Juanita Belle (Tonihka) Shomo in Talihina.

Racheal enjoyed watching Jimmy Swaggart online when she could.  She loved her grandchildren, listening to Choctaw Hymns, going to singings, and cooking.  Family gatherings were important to Racheal.  She also enjoyed being outdoors and fishing.  She played a mean game of volleyball when she could. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Belinda Willis; sister, Priscilla Tonihka; brother, Shawn Shomo; grandchildren, Aiden Willis and Nathan Willis; and father to her children, Michael Glen Willis, Sr.

Racheal leaves to cherish her memory to her children, Nikisha Ford (Walter), of Holbert, OK, Laquanta Willis, of Durant, Amy Bond (Rohn), of Durant, Michael Willis, Jr, of Durant, Jimmerson Willis (Jessica), of Calera, Chimon Willis, of Broken Bow, Martka Willis, of Oak Hill, Ambrocio Shomo, of DeQueen, and Amber Shomo, of Calera; siblings, Geneva Shomo (Fausto Coyote) of Manchester, TX, Anna Shomo, of Broken Bow, Daniel Shomo, of Broken Bow, and Brian Shomo, of Oklahoma City; 31 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Carmelo Martinez, of Nashville, AR; along with other relatives and many other friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday at 2PM at Brumley Funeral Home Chapel.

Wake Service will be Wednesday from 6-8PM also at the Brumley Funeral Home.
