MeKenzie Mathews Wright, 28, of Broken Bow, passed from this life, August 12, 2021, in Springfield, Missouri.
MeKenzie was born on March 11, 1993, to Todd Mathews and Kay White, in Idabel, OK.
She and Earvin Wright were married, April 27, 2016, in Broken Bow, OK.
MeKenzie loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed spoiling her nieces and nephew, going to work, and being with her “work family”. Her biggest joy in life was being a mother to her twins, Zuri and Zabree. MeKenzie also loved back roading, floating the river, and ordering stuff off Amazon. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Kay White; grandmother, Joyce White; and her granny, Betty Tucker.
MeKenzie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Earvin Wright, of the home; her dear children, Zuri, Zabree, and Jermaine Wright; her parents, Todd Mathews and wife, Kathy Brantley, of Broken Bow; brothers, Arten White, Chris Mathews, Kade Brantley, Todd Lane Mathews, and Kord Brantley; sister, Maci Mathews; sisters-in-law, LaKayla and Promise Wright; nieces, Kayzlie Metcalf, and Rhyan Mathews; nephews, Kazen Mathews, DeShawn and Kade Frost; as well as, many other family and friends.
A Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Brumley Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Brumley Funeral Home Chapel.
