Mackenzie Jade Bergman, 22, of Eagletown, passed from this life on July 29, 2021 in Broken Bow. He was born on July 27, 1999, to Michael and Ramona (Freeman) Bergman in San Diego, CA.
Mackenzie was of the Christian Faith and had lived in McCurtain County since 2002. Mackenzie enjoyed being outdoors, riding around, and especially off roading on his ATV, hunting, and watersports. He loved being with his friends and family (especially his nieces) and loved making people laugh. Mackenzie enjoyed listening to music and singing. He was known to be a jokester and prankster. Mackenzie was very proud of his job with PSO as a lineman; he thoroughly enjoyed his job and the people he worked with.
Mackenzie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roy Freeman and Nancy Carol Sosa; paternal grandfather, Jim Bergman; and great grandmothers, Lois Willingham and Nancy Whitehouse.
He is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Ramona Bergman, of Panki Bok; brothers, Travis Bergman, and wife, Montana, of Valliant, Austin Bergman, and fiancé, McKenize Fennell, of Broken Bow, and Arliss Bergman, of Panki Bok; nieces, Felicity, Fallon, and Addison Bergman; grandmothers, Jacqui Freeman and Judy Givens, of Las Vegas; aunts, Hope Hadsell, and husband, Richard, and Vanessa Smitko, and husband, Chris, all of San Deigo; uncles, Robert Sosa, and wife, Jennie, of San Diego, Tommy Freeman, of San Diego, Kelly Bergman, of Las Vegas, and Tony Bergman, also of Las Vegas; good friends, Raymond (Tinky) Kessler, and fiancé, Kasie Collins, of Panki Bok, Dusty Payne, of Eagletown, and Brad D. Fennell, of Valliant; along with other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, at 11AM, at the Eagletown Gym with Cy Davis officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Cerrogordo Cemetery.
