Joyce Gonzales, 66, of Garvin, passed from this life June 30, 2020 in Paris, TX. Joyce was born September 21, 1953, in Bethel, OK, to Jerry and Nora White.
Joyce had lived in McCurtain County all her life. She was a member of the Agape Church and enjoyed church singings and church functions. As a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, making beaded earrings and as she got older, she enjoyed long rides with her husband and attending her grandchildren’s athletic sports and activities. She loved being with her grandchildren and her family. Her family was very important to her. Joyce had a huge heart and loved everyone.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Nora White; two sisters, Jeraldine Tims and Janet Boston; daughter, Lenora Kay White; granddaughter, Kari White; and grandson, Franklin White.
Joyce leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Manuel Gonzales, of the home; sons, Larry James, and Rhonda, of Idabel, Louis James, of Broken Bow, Leslie James, of Broken Bow, and LeManuel Gonzales, and Sara, of Idabel; daughters, Linda White, of Broken Bow, Loyce Polk, and Mack, of Broken Bow, Lawana Dunigan, and Tory, of Broken Bow, LaManda James, and Howard Wesley, of Wright City, Manuela Gonzales, of Broken Bow, and Marcianna Gonzales, of Garvin; sisters, Joann Wade, and Johnny, of Broken Bow, and Louise Taylor, of Bethel; 36 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; along with a host of other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be Friday, July 3, 2020 at 3:30PM at the Holly Creek Cemetery.
