Obituary

JoAnn Hannah, of Broken Bow, passed from this life January 29, 2021 at DeQueen, AR.  JoAnn was born August 9, 1943, at Redland, OK, to Willie Gafford and Evelyn McNeal and later adopted by Amos and Georgia Loyd.

JoAnn was a member of the Faith Christian Center of Broken Bow and had lived in McCurtain County most of her life.  She enjoyed playing bingo, singing, and spending time with her son, Freddy.  Freddy will cherish the times spent having lunch and visiting with his mom at the Bear Creek Healthcare Facility.  JoAnn loved going to church and loved her church family, as well.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her biological parents, Willie Gafford and Evelyn McNeal; her adopted parents, Amos and Georgia Loyd; and the father of her son, Luther Ray Hannah.

JoAnn leaves to cherish her memory, her loving son, Freddy Alex Hannah, of Broken Bow; half sister and brother, Janette and Jimmie James, of Antlers; nephews, Tony Hannah, of Idabel, and Mark Hannah, of Broken Bow; along with other relatives and many friends.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 10AM at the Eagletown Cemetery with Pastor Chuck Darby officiating.
