Jimmy L. Kiser passed away April 19, 2020 in his home near Wright City, Oklahoma surrounded by family and friends. Jimmy was born May 22, 1941 to Pauline (Ball) and Cecil Kiser in their home near the Watermill community outside Valliant, Oklahoma.
He was a lifelong resident of Wright City, graduating from high school there then married Helen R. Harmon June 13, 1959.They reared their 3 boys Jim, Curt and Kelly in Wright City where Jim coached baseball and basketball teams for all three boys influencing many youths in the Wright City area. Jim worked most of his career for Dierks Forests then Weyerhaeuser where he was an equipment operator then in equipment maintenance. He retired from the Wright City Complex after 44 years of service. He spent his later years gardening and ranching, raising Brangus cattle on his Cypress Creek ranch.
Jimmy was a current member of the Wright City Masonic Lodge # 483. He received his 50-year pin in 2018 and a lifetime member of the Wright City Methodist Church. Jim and Marian Dunn were married March 11, 2019 and lived at his home in Wright City.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Helen (Harmon) Kiser, his mother Pauline Kiser, father Cecil Kiser and his sister Cecilia Westbrook.
He is survived by his wife, Marian Dunn Kiser of the home; three sons and their spouses, Jimmy W. and Laurie Kiser of Jenks, Ok., Curtis and Tami Kiser of Crossville, Tenn., Kelly and Mindy Kiser of Cleveland, Tenn. 8 grandchildren, Jordon, Payton, Mackenzie, Sydney, Taylor, Alex, Sarah, and Kade. 3 great grandchildren James, Oliver and, Douglas. He is also survived by 9 step children, 35 step grandchildren, and 19 step great grandchildren, a niece Andrea Westbrook of Wright City and 2 nephews Richard Park of Wright City and Terry Park of Hugo.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at 2:00PM at the Slater Memorial Cemetery, Wright City. Pastor Randy Watkins will officiate.
