Jerry Hargadine, of Broken Bow, passed from this life October 10, 2020 in Paris, TX. Jerry was born January 25, 1936 in Kinsley, KS, to Francis Elwood and Bessie Mae (Evans) Hargadine.
Jerry graduated from Anderson High School, in California, and attended Shasta College, where he studied business. He worked as a department manager at a local grocery store in Anderson, CA. Jerry married the love of his life Wanda Maxine Williams on November 4, 1956, in Anderson, CA. They would have been married 64 years this year.
Jerry and Maxine, along with their family, moved to Oklahoma in 1966 when he started his ranching life. Jerry was also a carpenter and cabinet maker. He loved his horses, dogs, and being a rancher. Jerry never met a stranger and enjoyed visiting with others. He was hard-working and always willing to help a friend in need. Jerry loved his family, friends, and church family. He was a member of the Golden Baptist Church for many years.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Bessie Hargadine; grandson, Brandon Hargadine; and daughter-in-law, Janie Hargadine.
Jerry leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Maxine Hargadine, of the home; son, Joe Hargadine; daughter, Karen Jones, and Rich; grandchildren, Shonda Gamble, and Dewayne, and Tommy (Bo) Huddleston, Jr, and Misty; great-grandchildren, Brance Metcalf, Rhet Gamble, Bailey and Lane Huddleston, Brooke Holloway, and Ami Mitchell; great-great grandchildren, Kayzlie, Kash, and Rip; along with other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 2:00PM at the Golden Baptist Church.
