Jason James Jackson

June 2, 2020

Jason James Jackson, 41, of Valliant, passed from this life June 2, 2020 at his home.  Jason was born July 13, 1978, in DeQueen, to James and Charlena (Pettyjohn) Jackson.
Jason had lived in McCurtain County all his life and attended The Church in Millerton.  Jason had a love for his horses and his ranch.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his property on either a horse or a four-wheeler.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time with his family.  He enjoyed bull dogging and roping when he was not working, but you could also find his kids right beside him.  Jason was the best daddy a girl could ask for and he always wanted the best for his children.  Jason was known for his random acts of kindness and his family will carry that tradition on.
Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Charlena Jackson, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Jason leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Kate Jackson; his loving children, Lauren Raelynn Jackson, Joscelynn James Jackson, Jason Lynn Jackson, Jett James Jackson, and Noah Jeremiah Shadwick, all of the home; his father, James Jackson, of Wright City; sister, Jennifer Dell Jackson, of Sacramento, CA; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family; and many special friends.
A Celebration of Jasons’ Life will be Monday, June 8, 2020, at 10AM, at Slater Memorial Cemetery, Wright City, with Pastor Brent Coffey officiating.
Friends and family are welcome to visit the family at the funeral home Sunday, June 7, 2020, from 2PM – 5PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the childrens' trust funds for college at FirstBank.
