Gary Noah, age 73, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, died Monday, October 11, 2021 at the Alliance Health in Durant, Oklahoma. He was born on Saturday, May 29, 1948 to Esaias Harry Noah and Marsuise Colbert in Talihina, Oklahoma.
Gary served his county in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. While in the service, he received the National Defense Service Metal; Vietnam Service Metal with 3 bronze service stars; the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Metal; and a sharpshooter with his rifle. Gary loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching the OU Football games and going fishing down at the Mountain Fork River. Gary worked for 12 years for the McCurtain County Road Department before his retirement. Gary was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Gary was preceded by his parents; one son, Clinton Noah; his brother, Larry Noah and his sisters, Hazel, Willis, Arma Jean Billy, Louisa Resendiz, Mildred Cusher and Brenda Shotkey.
He is survived by his son, Richard Noah of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Bree Noah of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Amber Walters of Derby, Kansas, Shouden Noah of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Erin Noah of Texarkana, Texas; one great granddaughter, Haven Luster of Texarkana, Texas; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be held Monday, October 18, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. the Noah Cemetery in Pickens, Oklahoma with Pastor Rayson Gibson officiating. A wake service will be Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 2-4 P.M. at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangement are entrusted to Brumley Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be Richard Noah, Joe Ray Cusher, Newton Wesley Jr., Anthony Willis, Gage Carroll and Bill Anna.
