Gail Smalling Clay, 53, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma died on Friday, September 24, 2021 at her home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. She was born on Thursday, October 19, 1967 to Clinton Ray and Nita Jean Smalling in Idabel, Oklahoma.
Gail was a person that took care of everyone she could. She proved that by being an in-home health care provider to families that need her love. She was a Christian and was affiliated with the Broken Bow Church of God. Gail loved her family and loved to spoil her grandchildren. Gail was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be missed and loved by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, D.J. Vick and Junia Eeds and her paternal grandparents, Howard and Alta Smalling.
She is survived by husband, Jerry Clay of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; her parents, Clinton and Nita Smalling of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; her sons and daughters in law son, Christopher and Kristy Marable of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Don and Tammy Clay of Hope, Arkansas; three daughters and son in law, LeKeta Marable of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, LaJuanna Baggs of De Queen, Arkansas and Mistie and Marty Arivett of Langley, Arkansas; one brother and sister in law, Ray and Martha Smalling of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; one sister and brother in law, Janet and Donny McCoy of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Alix Bryan, Mikka Bryan, Shaden Marable, Addisyn Yeargan, Emily Yeargan and Conner Yeargan, Zachary Clay , Jordan McMellon and Madison Camp; nephews and niece, James Wood, Josh Bounds and Morgan Carlile; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Paul Hartley officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 6-8 P.M. at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Watsons Memorial Cemetery at Oak Hill Cemetery with arrangements entrusted to Brumley Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Marable, Shaden Marable, Alix Bryan, Josh Bounds, Collin Carlile, Billy Marable, David Caudle and James Wood.
