Emmy Lou Baker, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on Wednesday November 11, 2020 after fighting a long battle of cancer at the age of 59. She was born to Robert Roy and Melissia Bohanan on October 1, 1961 in Talihina, Oklahoma.
Emmy Lou was a strong Baptist woman who relied in God and her faith. She enjoyed beading many different things. In her spare time, she enjoyed anything outdoors like; fishing, camping, and hunting. She was her grandchildren’s #1 fan when it came to sports, she loved attending and cheering them on along the way. She was a loving family woman; her favorite times were whenever family was able to gather around and spend time with one another.
Emmy Lou is survived by her spouse, Andres Sanchez; Children: Paco of Houston, Texas, Robin Baker and spouse Jerome Noahubi of Idabel, Oklahoma, Shaun Baker and wife Melissa of Battist, Oklahoma; Grandchildren: Ethan Baker, McKenzie Noahubi, Christian Noahubi, Maddux Noahubi, Zander Baker, Sierra Baker, and Piper Baker; Great-grandchild, Kylah Paige Mattoz; Mother, Melissia Bohanan; Sisters: Betty Tom and husband Jimmy, Brenda James and husband Tony, Lois Bohanan; Brother, Herb Bohanan and wife Marvada; Sister-in-Law, Carolyn Bohanan; Brother-in-Law, Austin Jefferson; Special Niece, Melinda Ludlow; Special Great-Niece: Nakiah Leal and Keyana Leal, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Emmy Lou is preceded in death by her father: Robert Roy; Brother, Virgil “Cubby” Bohanan; Sisters: Margaret Ludlow, Eunice Bohanon, Mary Bohanan and Linda Jefferson.
