Dorothy Jane Beller, age 80, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, graduated from this life Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on Sunday, October 13, 1940 in Glover, Oklahoma.
Dorothy was a prayer warrior and loved her Jesus with all her heart. She placed God before all others, then her family and then the church. She attended GracePoint Outreach Center in Westville, Oklahoma most recently. Prior to that she was a member at Victory Life in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and loved to spoil them. She worked 25 years for Weyerhaeuser as an operator before her retirement. Dorothy enjoyed fishing, taking arts and crafts classes and cooking; some of her sons favorite dishes she cooked was her banaha, fried pies and flat biscuits. She also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, OU Sooners and OKC Thunder. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; William and Pearley Mae Louis; her husband, Isaac Beller; her step-son, Kenny Bennett; her grandchildren, Kloey Beller and Jaxon Beller; brothers, Byars Louis, Nelson Louis, Jesse Louis, Benjamin Louis and William Louis; sister, Mary Davis and nephew, Jeremy Louis.
Dorothy is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Lance and Amy Beller of Watts, Oklahoma, Brandon and Crystal Beller of Durant, Oklahoma and Daniel and Vicky Beller of Ringold, Oklahoma; daughters and sons in law, Lesa and Tom Jester of Roger, Arkansas, Loretta and George Billingsley of Battiest, Oklahoma, Lola and Jim Beason of Malvern , Arkansas, and Lou Ellen and Sam Davis of Fort Towson, Oklahoma; one brother, Ray Louis of Durant, Oklahoma, one sister, Lillian Louis of Dallas, Texas. Her grandchildren, Destiny Beller of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Mekenzie, Abigail and Jakoby Beller of Watts, Oklahoma and Kalin and Kaira Beller of Durant, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Victory Life with Pastor Lynn Tomlinson and Pastor Jimmy Jeter officiating. Interment will follow in the Slater Memorial Cemetery in Wright City under the Brumley Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. No wake service will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Brumley Funeral Home in Broken Bow.
