Clark Ernest Freeman, of Broken Bow, passed from this life September 18, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at his home. Clark was born January 1, 1940 in Golden, OK, to Ernest William and Myrtle Mae (Eason) Freeman.
Clark was a member of the Idabel Church of God and had lived in Broken Bow most of his life. Clark was a talented man and enjoyed wood carving. He could work anything from a chainsaw, drill, to carving wood with a knife. Clark won two awards at our local county fair with his knife carvings and won the Bull of the Woods at Owa-Chito in 1979.
Clark married Sherry O’Brien in Broken Bow on April 7, 1978. They loved coming to Broken Bow lake and camping with their kids.
Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Freeman and Myrtle LeGrande; daughter, Jennifer Freeman; brothers, Clarence Freeman and David Gregory; and sister, Gloria Warden.
Clark leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Sherry Freeman, of the home; children, Shawnda Wells, and Harrington, of Collinsville, OK, Cassandra Freeman, of Broken Bow, and Cynthia McCormick, and Bo, of Rainier, Oregon; special granddaughter, Angelique Rayne Klinzing, also of the home; brothers, Harvey Freeman, of Idabel, Doyle Gregory, and Melinda, of Winthrop, AR, and Steve Gregory, and spouse, of Gilmer, TX; other grandchildren, Taylor Ward, and husband, of Claremore, Brandi Hinson, Abby Wells, Anna Wells, and Jack Wells, all of Collinsville, Dakota Freeman, of Columbia, TN, Justice Brown, of Decatur, AL, and Chevelle McCormick, of Rainier, Oregon; many nieces and nephews whom called him their favorite uncle; and a host of friends whom all loved him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at 10AM, at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Freeman, Bro. Carl Wilson, and Bro. Jamie Wyatt officiating.
A visitation will be Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the funeral home from 6-8PM.
