A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 14, 2020 at the Brumley Funeral Chapel in Broken Bow, OK.
Clara Louise Hall was born on June 15, 1933 in Broken Bow, OK. She passed from this life on August 10, 2020 in Idabel, OK.
Clara spent most of her life in McCurtain County after spending her childhood in Bakersfield, CA.
Clara enjoyed the simple things in life. When she was younger and able, she liked to sit in the front porch swing and drink coffee, spend time with her dogs, play the piano, and go to yard sales with her sister, Lois. Her family remembers her as a firecracker of a woman who loved people and always had a smile on her face. While she certainly loved her children and grandchildren, her great-grandchildren were her life and her special love.
Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Buster Hall; parents, William Johnson and Ethel Mulkey Tate; brother, Buckshot Johnson; sister, Wanda Faye Foley; grandson, Christopher Hall; and granddaughter, Rachel Hall along with her unborn child.
She is survived by a son, Danny Hall of Idabel, OK; daughters, Judy Caldwell (husband, Mitchell) of Broken Bow, OK, Darlene Hall of Broken Bow, OK, and Susie Hall of Broken Bow, OK; sister, Lois Peevy of Idabel, OK; sister-in-law, Margie Johnson of Broken Bow, OK; aunt—who was like a sister—Irene Funk; 24 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends.
A public viewing will be held from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to stop by, sign the book, and pay respects to Mrs. Hall.
