Betty Jean Stow age 80 of Durant, Oklahoma and a long time residence of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in Calera, Oklahoma. She was born on Friday, November 15, 1940 to Marion and Sallie Pope in Eagletown, Oklahoma.
Betty loved all her family with all of her heart. She loved vacationing in Branson, Missouri. She was a long time member of the Broken Bow First Assembly of God in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Stow and two brothers, Arthur and Gearl Pope.
Betty is survived by her son and daughter in law, Windell and Chris Stow of Mead, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Melissa and husband , Josh of Durant, Oklahoma and Angie Stow of Durant, Oklahoma; five great grandchildren, Mickayla, Ethan, Breanna, Lillie and Kinsley; one great-great grandchild, Blakely; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of life service will be Monday, September 27, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Broken Bow First Assembly of God with Reverend Terry Bradley and Windell Stow officiating. Interment will be at Hochatown Cemetery under the direction of Brumley Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. The family will gather at 1:00 P.M. at the church to receive friends before the service starts. Arrangements are entrusted to Brumley Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
